1350m² Flat Roof Upgrade At Normanton Site

In 2023, we proudly completed our most significant flat roofing project yet. Our client, the leading trade kitchen supplier in the UK, entrusted us with the task of refurbishing two roof structures at their Normanton site.

Acting as CDM Principal Contractor, the project was thoroughly planned and a comprehensive CDM construction phase plan was implemented as well as a resident site manager to oversee the works. Our in-house health and safety team attended site regularly to conduct site visits, and safety briefings to ensure compliance with regulations.

Over an 8-week period, our hardworking teams refurbished and installed the Triflex Waterproofing System to a combined area of approximately 1350m2. Our teams worked meticulously on the project, including both our new apprentices.

The project was specifically designed to incorporate the Trifelx ProDetail system as the final application following the removal of the old roof. Both roofs were upgraded with new timber joists, 150mm PIR foil backed insulation and 9mm OSB board to leave a flawless base for the installation of the Triflex system.

The Triflex ProDetail is a tried and tested favourite of MNA Group, having used it on a number of projects over the years. The benefits the system gives both our operatives and clients is remarkable. From being rain proof in 30 minutes to fully cured in just 45. The smaller curing windows are imperative when dealing with rapid weather changes and working in live environments.
