KATT Ladder Installation For Lester Cladding At Glass Futures, St Helens

MNA Group were approached by our client, Lester Cladding to install an 11 metre, two stage KATT ladder complete with two access platforms.

Lester Cladding has been a client of MNA Groups for some years, and we have delivered a number of height safety solutions for their clients over that period.

The premises at Glass Futures’ base in St Helens required the installation of a two-stage ladder to the exterior of their property in order to provide an external fire escape route on the premises from the exit point located on the side elevation of their building.

Along with the installation of the hooped ladders, a two-meter platform was constructed at the side of the primary ladder, and a second three-meter platform was constructed at the top, adjacent to the second ladder.

The platforms and ladders were installed over the course of three days, and they offer a reliable route of escape in the case of a fire. All equipment installed, fulfilled the manufacturers and HSE working at heights criteria.
