MNA Group were appointed by a well-known facilities management company to complete groundworks preparations for the installation of a new external canopy at a Community College in Manchester.
The groundworks that was undertaken by MNA Group were in preparation for the installation of a new canopy in the external courtyard of the facility by Broxap.
Our works included the setting out excavation works in line with the provided plans and drawings from Broxap.
A total of 26 footings and foundations were excavated at 2.2m deep in preparation for the new structure. This included rebar works to the footings and the installation of anchor points, prior to the pumping of the C35 pump mix concrete.
Our teams completed works in line with the specified program schedule to enable Broxap to complete the construction of the canopy at the college. The newly installed canopy provides shelter for students and staff during inclement weather and enhances the overall appearance of the facility.
