Tree Felling & Tarmac Works For Sulzer Ltd

Sulzer, a prominent pump manufacturing company, reached out to MNA Group with concerns about the trees on their property.

Sulzer suspected that Ash Dieback disease was affecting a percentage of the trees, which can cause structural instability if left. Failure to deal with this can lead to liability issues should any damage or injury occur to third parties or their property. To address this concern, Sulzer engaged us to conduct a thorough survey and develop a plan of action should Ash Dieback be detected.The survey unfortunately confirmed the presence of the disease in 15 trees, and it was agreed that they needed to be removed to ensure the safety of staff and visitors.

Whilst onsite, we were also alerted to the condition of the tarmac in the carpark. It was evident that the heavy traffic on the premises had caused potholes to develop, which had been shallow filled previously and were failing again.

Our team initially planned off 40mm of the current tarmac and applied a tack coat before recovering the 60m2 area with new tarmac in order prevent any future issues.
